Vinyasa Yoga



Vinyasa is a flowing, dynamic yoga practice that cultivates self-awareness by connecting movement with breath. Most classes feature several elements, including sun salutations, standing poses, preparation for advanced postures such as backbends and inversions (offered in advanced vinyasa), with focus on gaze point (drishti) guided by a steady breath.
All Vinyasa classes require focus and move at a quicker pace; therefore, some Yoga experience is helpful prior to starting this class, but not required.
Vinyasa is excellent for students who find that sweating and movement helps create a state of physical exertion and mental concentration leading to deep relaxation and steadiness after class.
