Studio FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What are your current COVID restrictions?

We are following the CDC's guidance, as well as adhering to reccomendations by the PA Department of Health. If you are feeling under the weather, have had a fever, cough, or other COVID-related symptoms in the last week, we ask that you refrain from coming to class until you are feeling better. Effective May 31, 2021at 12:01AM, all COVID-19 related restrictions related to gatherings, restaurants, and other businesses will be lifted.

Do you have yoga mats and other props to use on site?

Yes! We have mats and props (straps, blocks, wedges) that you may borrow. We disinfect them after each use in accordance with current safety protocols set forth by the Commonwealth of PA. Want your own? We offer Jade Yoga mats and straps, along with lots of other fun yoga inspired things for sale at the studio.

Do I need to sign-up before a class?

We reccomend that you sign up using our website or calling 570-731-0920 to make sure you have a spot in the class. We always welcome drop-ins if there is space. COVID-19 restrictions on businesses are being lifted May 31, 2021 so we do not need restrict class size, but we limit class sizes to allow for 'personal space.'

I have a class package that expired or has unused classes from the prior location, can the expiration be extended?

If you purchased a class package between November 2019 and August 2020, we have a list of individuals with class packages that have unused classes on them. We are more than happy to allow you to use them now. If you still have questions, please send us an email at RuralYogaTribe@gmail.com

Do you have a lost and found?

We do! All items will be dated, tagged and bagged (if they are small enough) and kept behind the check-in desk for 30 days. If they are not claimed, they will be donated (if appropriate) or disposed of.

Are late arrivals permitted?

I sometimes feel like this is the most loaded question in all of yoga. Life can be stressful, we don't want being late to a class to add to that stress. We would like you to be here and on your mat 5 minutes prior to class starting. Life happens though. If you are running late, you are permitted to enter (quietly, being respectful of other students). Quietly make your way to an open space, closest to the point of entry to minimize any distraction to other students.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you have pre-registered for a class and do not call/email/cancel via the website at least one hour prior to the beginning of class, the class will be deducted from your membership or if you are dropping in, you will be charged for the class. For special events, workshops, and private sessions, we ask that you cancel at least 24 hours before the event starts. If you cancel less than 24 hours before, you will be charged 50% of the registration/tuition. If you no-show, you will be charge the full value of the event/workshop/session. Please review the specific expectations and details related to attendance and cancellation for each event/workshop when you register.
